alright, i now have a definite addition to the list…Riviera:The Promised Land. Follows the story of a grim angel a few hundred years after Ragnarok (war between the Gods and Demons) as you try to actuate the Retribution, both saving Asgard (home of the gods) and destroying Riviera, which is threatening to become the second Utgard (home of the demons) what with the demons overrunning the Sprites. Things don’t go as planned however. i won’t say more except that it’s one of the most innovative rpg games (experience is gained by what weapon the character uses, not how many times; more weapons mastered means more Overskills) and the line “two grim angels wielding diviners descended on Riviera” just sounds cool.
