I hated La Pucelle, and thought that Disgaea was outrageously overrated. I’ve also heard that the games are not really improving that much. I guess that’s fine if you like the games, but that sounds lame to me. 
Honestly, they made a pretty big leap with Makai Kingdom. Took all that was good with both Disgaea and Phantom Brave, added a lot more shit and customizable options, and you have a game that blows FFT out of the water.
Unless, of course, you’re an FFT fanboy.

How do you change a character’s class? Lets say I have a lvl 12 apprentice dude and I want to upgrade him to a warrior(or infanty), is that possible? Or do I have to create a ne character if I want o have a warrior class char?

Nah, that’s the DBZ PLOT Syndrome. DBZ syndrome involves only the characters and not the people who write/translate the script.

Pretty bad when a series gets two syndromes named after it. 
You can make any character anything. You need to have enough mana, then talk to Zetta and “make a wish” to be reincarnated. That’s Disgaea’s “transmigration” in Makai Kingdom. Reincarnation kills the character’s body so you can put his soul into any kind of character you want, including sex changing or monster jobs.

Almost anything that has confine abilities of 100% or more in all the stats just like the sapling trees,on that note ever notice that when you highlight a character again and again the base stats change? keep doing it till you get higher stats than normal.
