As the general rule, nature items like trees, rocks, etc., are better for confining. Excess weapons are usually poor confinement items and should be sold.
I’m very much looking forwards to this game. Hopefully we’ll see it before March over here, but it still makes me sad to know that all you guys will have finished talking about it by the time it reaches Europe’s shores 
Ah well… will have fun once it does come here, of course.
