Uh, guys... I broke it...

<a href=“http://hades.nulani.net/images/Broken.jpg”>I beat Tetris.</a>

My points were so high that I went into the negatives. I’m not even kidding. 32768 is the maximum integer value in many programs, including Tetris. When I passed it, I went back to the lowest integer value (-32768) and started going up from there. My actual score is 51819.

I proclaim myself the biggest geek at RPGC next to Wertigon.

More importantly, he’s talking to satan on MSN.

You have no life.
None at all.

Im so proud of you

quite indeed.

You are so never going to lose your virginity :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I may not be the guy who played Death Mode at the Tetris Japan Finals, but I’m pretty proud, myself.

Next item on the list: Beat Vicki’s Expert Minesweeper time. Or whoever it was that beat it in just over 100 seconds. My current best is 141.

My best is 133, but that’s not the best time here.

You are SUCH a bloody nerd.

Just out of curiosity, how long did that take you?

After minesweeper you’ll need to beat that stupid little bear thing in “skifree”.

Then you shall be the king of <strike>the losers</strike>all those little pack-in windows games.

Well, if you have Windows 3.x, 95, or 98 (not sure about anything else that came before XP), there’s a way to freeze the clock on Minesweeper so you can get 1 second. Even better is if you do it on 3.x that way you can use some other little weird code that shows where all the mines are. :stuck_out_tongue:

My god how much free time do you have on a regular basis?

But seriously good job

bows to the Tetris god

On gameboy I got over 100,000…

I always start on level 10, to stay in the zone. You have to condition yourself to be able to play entire games at high speeds as if you were playing it at normal speeds, otherwise you’ll quickly die once you hit level 10 and the speed overwhelms you, so the entire game was quite fast paced. It took maybe 15-20 minutes, max.

Sorc: Different point scheme, and different speeds. You can’t compare 2 different Tetrises. That sounds pretty impressive though.

I guess. I really don’t remember, it was a while ago. I would figure that Tetris is Tetris, but whatever.

Go back to Cheatsville, Cheater McCheatson!

I don’t use it. I know how to do it, but I don’t use it. :stuck_out_tongue:

What a poorly designed tetris game. Why was it storing the score as a 16 bit signed value? Is it tetris for windows 3.1? Any game programmed nowadays would probably have used a 32 bit value for the score, allowing it to store scores of up to 2 billion something (4 billion something if it is an unsigned 32 bit value).

or a double precision floating point number for up to 1, 700, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 :open_mouth: O: Break THAT, Hades!
