I just got a conformation from the old Douglas Adams forum that they’ll most likely start filming in 2004, and that Douglas’ brother Rob will be working with it.
Now that will be interesting… Go Infinite Improbability!

A trilogy (in five parts) about the events after the world is destroyed (and I can’t believe that I put it as a spoiler, since it happens less than 60 pages into the first book, but whatever) and how it affects the lives of Arthur Dent and a mish-mash of other beings aboard the only ship powered by the Infinite Improbability Drive. In a nutshell, it’s one of the great science fiction series.

It is awesome, took me awhile to complete (even with the help of this )
And the movie sounds awesome, just as long as it can execute the feeling the books give well. Although im sure that they will use the miniseries as a guide.
I just have to say, that if this movie sucks and it disrespects the books, I will be extremly pissed off.
