As all of you don’t know (due to lack of interest and other reasons entirely my fault…), my hobby and possibly future career(other than mortuary school) is making comics and poetry and such. So today, I am starting the first of my greatest ideas ever! As soon as I get the software, I’m starting my own anime! And hopefully, one day I’ll share it with you guys! >Sniffle< I feel all warm and fuzzy…

And yeah…how to you just “get” software to “start” your own anime? I don’t get it…
All i can say is good luck.I think is possible to do it in flash as i saw something like that in newground.
It’s very possible to make anime in things like Flash MX. I am actually starting to use Adobe Illustrator for drawing things. It’s quite good.
Yea, flash is great, but dont use motion tweening too much. It ends up making the animation look stupid.
Flash is powerful, but there are many other progrmas out there that probably range from 6000 dollars up. Maya, the 3D softwear for most of the game industry can range from 9K per license for older versions, to 16K for the newest version. I wouldn’t be surprised if 2D animation softwear ranges similarly.

The most expensive version of Maya is $7000, the normal version is $2000, and there is a free version for non-commercial use.

I wanna make my own anime
But I haven’t attempted anything. A lot of people don’t realize that you need a whole team of people and an actual studio to make anime, and even then, it takes years to make a single movie. Movies are generally extremely high quality compared to series though.
I wanna make my own anime too. Let’s team up.
But really, I’ve felt that vibe before when it’s like “OMG! I get to do something creative with my life…” and it’s a good rush. It’s a good feeling to want to create your own fantasy. It’s like coming up with a great idea for a potential kick ass story.
But yeah, like Hades said, it takes a lot to make an even GOOD anime. Now Im not trying to damper anyone’s spirits, because I could easily spew out the incredibly cliche, “Follow your dreams and they’ll come true” because uh…very rarely that happens. it doesn’t take one person to make anime, it takes one person to TRY to come up with a GOOD enough idea. So this is why I’m a skeptic and i scoff at anyone who says this kinda stuff.
Unless she’s just making her anime for past time hobby and whatnot. Then like, disregard everything I said.
Yeah, this falls in the category of “I’ll do my own comic book” “RPG” “Website” ETc. Etc. SO many things we would love to do, that are SO hard to do.
At least TODAY. I’m convinced that, as time passes and technology advances, more and more things will be easier to do, and businesses will spring to exploit people who want to do them. One of these days, they just might come out with cheap, good anime-making software and we’ll see LOTS of homemade anime, regardless of how good they actually are. Might take decades, but knowing human nature, it’ll be done. Just wait for it…

Ehh a little bit of erotica. Not insanely hardcore, but Im a romantic at heart so I definately have some mature elements mixed into my writings. I don’t make it dirty though. I just have an appreciation for the art. (Too much Anne Rice…)
