I still don’t get these leaving threads. Then again, everyone leaves me alone so it’s not like I’d ever have a reason to leave. Of course, it’s a little hard to leave when I’m not actually anywhere but in front of my computer. So I guess the real question is, do people who do things like this somehow exist vicariously through the forum in a way I do not.

My answer might have seen heartless but what do I have to say? I don’t know what the fuck happened and I don’t know her at ALL, I never talked to her, even on this forum.
So, what was I to say? “Please return and never threaten to leave, you jerk!” Of course not, I don’t know her. I just made an “hmm” sound to show I was thinking about what to say, and then answered a simple “Bye”. Nothing personal, cold, maybe, but not insulting, at least, not in my opinion.
And we lose another one of our greats. I loved Chris’ stories, but looks like we won’t be reading them anymore. C’mon, Chrissy… stay with us. You are loved.

And please, please people… cut it out with this “attention whore” crap. If we were any sort of real community, we’d realize that when someone is playing the “attention whore”, it means they need our help, and as a community, it is our job, nay, our obligation to help her out and make her feel better. It’s easy for you to call someone an “attention whore” rather than help them out, because it takes a lot less heart to do and means you can keep your “antisocial bad boy that everyone idolizes” image.
Why don’t you try and help this person out? Are you jealous because she’s perhaps more popular than you? Well, she’s done a lot of fanfictions over the time she’s been here, and I’d say she deserves some fame. And if we want her presence to linger on, we have to do something. Make her feel wanted here, which she certainly is.
