Epic, I’m not talking about this morning. I meant last night, I asked you something and you just kind of ignored me after we talked about the ban. And what people told me was that my ban had been extended and I was to wait until you got on to see for how long, not that you forgot to undo it.
Edit: Ah, Epic. Eden asked Ackbar if it had been extended, and then said that Ackbar said that it HAD been extended. So either Ackbar had no clue what he was talking about or Eden was making up something trying to get on my nerves.
Maybe because I was trying to not be mean and tell you that the reason we agreed to ban you wasn’t because of the usage of the word fag, but because you were acting like an idiot and we decided that you needed a time out. You yelling FAG 6 times just gave us a reason.
Well, those people were wrong, it wasn’t extended.
On that note, as it turns out what Ackbar said was in reply to something else! Oopsiedasie! How on earth was I to know I had taken a comment out of context. =o

Actaully, it is possible to change the way people think of you. Like up until last night I hated deadtear and wanted him banend. However, he was pretty cool in the chat and now I took him off my ignore lists and we seem cool. Also, by using tact, it makes the other person look bad if they do something mean. Right now you are just giving more reason for a ban. Hell, Epic alreayd explained what probably happened. That should be more than enough. Like I thought you were fine until this thread. Now I’m starting to think worse of you. Also, if you improve your behavior, it is sometimes possibel to rectify things. Such as before I went to boot camp, I became a huge ass. I got banned, but that acted as a warning light me and I fixed myslef. Since I fixed myslef I was unbanned shortly after. Believe it or not, the mods are willing to work with you. However, when you overact and yell at them, they are most liekly going to be less willing to do so.
The time that you would have been unbanned is usually when like 3 ops, myself included, are active. I happened to be busy this week, so I uh, wasn’t. Epic accidently slept in, and RANDOMOP#3 wasn’t there. Now, because we don’t go through absurd lengths to inform everyone of every single fucking 24 hour ban (seeing as how we get a lot of those), we generally rely on the ops themselves removing it in time. Due to an accident, namely Epic sleeping in, that didn’t happen. And as I said, I was only home like, 3 concious hours this weekend. I didn’t really know what happened, so I decided to wait for Epic. Then you go and blow a fucking agression inhabitor, <b><i>in the main forum, as opposed to the chat room forum (which, by the way, gets checked by the operators, or at least me, 984 and Cless)</i></b> which totally does not help your case in any way, shape or form.
Now the USEFUL thing to do when something like this happens is go masturbate or something, sit it out. Unlike popular opinion, ops aren’t that much better than you (ok, ok, we are… not the point) and we sometimes make mistakes too. We’re sorry, now chill the fuck out, you’ve been unbanned for a few hours now.
Y’know, I don’t think calling random stuff “retarded” or people with power “fags” doesn’t help your case at all.
TD: I’m not mad at you guys for forgetting to unban me… I was confused as to why my (To my knowledge) ban was extended. And I had been sitting out, I didn’t care that I was banned so much, I talked to someone about it. But while I haven’t been able to even do anything wrong, I heard that my ban was extended… That kind of made me wonder

It is truly possible to change thoughts on people, Ramza. I actually was horribly, horribly scared of Eden (Recall my intro thread…) for quite some time, but actually learned to like the evil little menace. <<< And, that was a compliment.
Flaming won’t help. Not in my day it didn’t, anyways. On the other hand, if you get banned, DON’T WHINE ABOUT IT or, chances are, it’ll be extended. If you just sit quietly like a nice little boy, it’ll go away quicker. Like real life, if you get grounded, don’t complain and it’ll alllll blow over (quicker).
So you take one tiny bit of conversation out of context in there and say that Epic Gamer thought that it was an unjustified ban. What he said was that it MIGHT be unjustified, but you should not have acted the way you did. That’s pretty damned clear to me.

Ramza, there is no constitutional justice in a website (even a website with a charter!) started by a bunch of teenagers with time and a liking for video on their hands. Sorry, but that’s just the way it is, and the world reflects this flexibility in the rules depending on your influence and charisma too. We try to make it fair, but that’s just not what happens all the time.
If it makes you feel better, the ban <i>was not extended</i>, people just forgot to/couldn’t take it off, and we apologize for it.
