Well i think he means PS3, because it launched today.
All i can say is what i probably said when the PS2 launched. How do you spend three THOUSAND DOLLARS on a videogame?? Honestly, how? I know the people buying the ebay consoles are incredibly rich, but still, its just not worth it. So what, your PS3 comes in the mail, you hook it up, start playing “resistance fall of man” (since its the only launch game worth touching)…and what…the game is good enough that it justifies paying the price of a small used car for a VIDEOGAME?? wtf. What happens on the days when you play another system? How can you not feel like a fucking moron when you inevitably end up playing FF12 or something more than you play your brand new PS3 (which has like no games).
I’ve been seeing pictures on /v/ all day of happy little kids holding up their PS3 and a bunch of games and it just makes me feel sorry for them. When you’re so psyched over getting a videogame that you take a picture of yourself hugging it and post it on the internet…what the hell man. Even these kids, who got one a “retail price”, paid over 700USD for their console and game…maybe more. How do you feel happy about that? And if you do, wow i’m sorry that being a consumer is the only way you get your kicks

ps: where are the claims of the PS3 being used for missle launch control by rogue states??? Last time i checked the Cell is way more powerful than the EE in the PS2…Fox News you dropped the ball on this one!!!

I don’t even want one of these until there’s Metal Gear Solid. I do want to go to one of the lines of disenfranchized people waiting for them and see if I can mobilize them into a revolutionary force of unparalleled ferocity and cruelty. The only way the governments of world could stop my takeover would be to, um, give my army of about sixteen people each a PS3. That would pretty much stop us cold, since the fury of not having one is all that would keep the troops going.
The funny part about what I said is that is still slightly less ridiculous than Sony’s plans for this.
