Sad but true.

I know it’s a rarity, but you should really look for Lunar: The Silver Star Story Complete. It has to be the best love story I’ve ever seen in an RPG. Lunar 2 has a love story too, but the theme isn’t as present as the original. It’s there, but the theme of Lunar 2 is more like overcoming demons, or facing your fears.

Grandia = Goodyesfun. Plus, Mid-game it’s got a pretty good love scene (which turns humorous) and has a few more placed around, AND it’s a great game.

Silent Hill 2 has a love story. >.> <.<

:kissy:

I have it if your interested Dalton. Name the price. Its called Lunar 2: Eternal Blue right? Go ahead and e-mail me if you want too.

Here’s some SNES games for you:

Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma

And if you pay extremely close attention to the plot, Secret of Mana.

Oh, Grandia’s got a love story, alright…

IF YOUR IDEA OF LOVE IS KIDNAPPING A WOMAN, GAGGING HER AND FORCING HER TO MARRY YOU AGAINST HER WILL!

If you knew anything about Japanese culture, Hiryuu, you’d know that in Japan there’s no greater way of showing your love for a woman. Except for maybe rape.

That may be true, but I think he wants something slightly more intense than Celes/Locke kiddy love.

Thats the best advice anyone could ever recieve on a good RPG to play. Cheers Dalton! :toast:

I always wondered where that avatar came from.

I’d pick Xenogears. I think it’s one of the few games that really take the time to have some dialogue that isn’t just geared towards advancing the plot. Lunar: SSSC is another good one.

I want Lunar:SSSC. ;_; But, uh … as for games that don’t seem to have any kind of romance, I’d say Disgaea comes close, though I’ll wait until I’ve beaten it to pass my final judgement.

Well, my copy of Lunar:SSSC is back home, and my mom can’t seem to find it no matter how many times I tell her where it’s at. I consider it lost. I have Lunar: EB, but I, for some reason, want to beat the first one first. As for Grandia, I beat the first ones a few years ago, enjoyed it thouroughly, and every pay check I consider buying the second one. Maybe i’ll go ahead and get it. And it’s hard as shit to find a copy of Xenogears around here:P

Um, Jak II? It dousn’t have much romance but there’s a little…I can’t really think of much else…

You’re kidding right? Jak II is about revenge not love.

Go get LunarSSSC and LunarEBC if you want a good love story but good luck finding them.

Well, he sorta like that girl weirdo…ok, I can’t think of anything but Final Fantasy…

I have that problem more often than you would think.
