This is simple. One person posts a riddle and <b>the first person to guess the answer correctly</b> can either come up with a riddle, or let someone else give one. I’ll start off with a simple one.
A man lives in an apartment building. He lives on the 10th floor, but never goes directly to his room unless its a rainy day or someone is in the elevator with him. Otherwise, he goes to the 7th floor and walks up three flights of stairs. Explain why this is.
He’s a midget. He can only hit the 7 button. If someone else is in the elevator with him, they’ll push the 10 for him. Or if it’s a rainy day, he can hit the button with his umbrella.

I know that’s a really old riddle, and that Xelo did post the “correct” answer, but if you think about it, that’s not a realistic answer. If you go into a real elevator these days, you’ll see that the HIGHER numbers are at the bottom, not the lower ones. Thus, if he lived on the 2nd floor, this could be a problem, but then the ‘not walking the stairs on rainy days’ part doesn’t make sense. So, really, that riddle is either antiquated or incorrect.
Just what kinda weird elevators do you have? o_O Also, he could just always carry a stick with him or something. Just hope for a rainy day every time would be pretty annoying. Especially if he lives somewhere hot.
Don’t take it so seriously… It’s just a riddle. It’s not meant to be completely realistic, it’s just one of those things that are supposed to make you go “oh yeah” and smack your forehead.
I don’t have any good riddles to post, but I like the idea so keep posting.
