Everyone’s picking on Barney. Didn’t he have siblings or something as well?
There were two others I believe. The one almost never showed up, but Baby Bop was MUCH MUCH worse than Barney. Whereas Barney was just obnoxiously friendly, the Baby Bop character talked and acted like, well, a baby. And the voice was just as horrible, but in a different tone, than Barney’s.
Actually, I never liked the show because of the little bratty kids they always had. I don’t like Barney because he is a symbol of those P.I.T.A. kids.

Seriously though, it is his voice, and that stupid song he always sang, that got on my nerves. In fact all shows similar to Barney (ie. Teletubbies, Tweenes) get on my nerves. And I’ve had to watch more than my fair share of them, due to having so many little neices and nephews.
