Yes, it’s supposed to be a closed flower. Somewhat symbolic of my general mood at school.
Edit: I can see how it’s seen as a leaf. At the time, I’d considered it to be a black/grey rose closed.

I have completed the coloring of that catgirl of Maba’s. I personally think it looks good, but thats probably a small vanity
I added some shadowing to make it looks… better

If you look at a closed, young rose, you can see the petals are never equally long, and they’re sitting on a star of green stuff.
See what I mean? And the petals are way too big :o If you just meant to draw a closed rose and the flower itself is older already, you might want to add some waves to the petals btw.

I’m pretty good with drawing people and creatures, myself, but I’m not nearly as good when it comes to drawing things, such as roses.

I’m going to start working on a sword pretty soon.

As for clothing, it depends on how complicated the wrinkles are supposed to look.
I suck at drawing weapons, they have no coolness or design, and most of the time they look like anything but the weapon.

He seems a bit narrower above the waist than below, but other than that, very nice.
