I like Hemisphere from RahXephon a lot. At the moment I can’t think of an opening I like better, but there are certainly lots of great ones out there!
Great Teacher Onizuka 1st opening - ‘Drivers High’ by larc’ n ciel
Of the anime’s I’ve seen I like Invoke - Gundam SEED, the opening songs from Love Hina, Inuyasha and Witch Hunter Robin. As for ending themes, just Pretty Feeling - Noir.
I have the Chobits opening song stuck in my head at the moment, and the Slayes opening as well… My new friend Brian put them there… (how sad)
Invoke from Gundam SEED, and Find the Way, SEED’s last ending theme, were really good.
Azumanga Daioh’s is classic. Best music/op sequence combo ever.
This would be the best op EVER if they only made a decent MM series.
Yeah, i like Invoke too, but I like Moment better. And also, i like Anna ni issho datta no ni better than Find The Way… Tho, I like Meteor, Shoot, and Akatsuki no Kuruma(Dawn’s Carriage) the best from SEED.

I notice most anime music is cutesy. It isnt real music. Well it is by definition “real”, but most of it is made for anime.

Indeed. “Fake” music is radio/mtv/teenie bopper pop, constructed with machines and effects and what not. At least the anime music, even the cutsey stuff is performed with live instruments.

I said anime music is not real music because I read a lot of it is not played on the radio. Occasionally, they play an existant song from radio on an anime, like in Digi Charat
What I mean by cutesy, is like when they have high pitched voices. Like, in Galaxy Angel songs they say stuff about sweets. And in the end song in Ugly and Beuatiful World at the end sounds cutesy.
I don’t listen to Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony on the radio too often either, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t music. What you are saying doesn’t make sense.
And the high pitched thing… It’s pretty darn obvious that a cutesy show is going to have cutsey music. Have you ever seen a serious anime?
