I have had the warm and fluffy donuts, but truth is, I’m not really a fan of donuts, even the good. Too sweet. Which is funny, since my taste buds have totally changed since I was younger.
Fuck you American’s and your misuse of the word biscuits.
Fuck you all. ![]()
A biscuit is something that goes soft when it goes stale (seriously, legal case in Britain over this during rationing from what I can recall, check it out >>), a cookie is a subtype of biscuit, and sweetbread is not a goddamn biscuit.
Oh, and every sauce is not a gravy. D:
Dammit. Hungry for McDonalds now.
Despite the stories I’ve heard about the one in Barhaven (which I wouldn’t go to anyway, the one in Kanata has marble everywhere and a fucking FISH TANK in the middle of it. Fancy that.) I now have to go buy some Micky Dees.
McD’s is doing a lot of remodeling. There are a lot of McDs in Montreal that have granite counters, leather seats and flat screen LCD TVs and all kinds of other shit.

Burger Kings (or at least the one I frequent) are being remodeled too so that they too have flat-screens, leather seats, and so on…(the afore mentioned one I frequent received that facelift about a year ago).
Words have different meanings in different countries, even when they speak the same language. If someone went to the US and asked to use the water closet, most people would look at you funny.
It’s a legal definition, man. Legal! Cake goes hard when stale, biscuits go soft.
But yes, 'tis just something I joke about with my American friends. Like milk-in-bags jokes about Canadians.
Fuck the fucking bags.
I wonder how long it will take the remodeling to reach Lincoln.
