Lost Prophets

No he didn’t. No one’s ever said anything even close to that before. You’re doing that thing again, where you say things from completely out of the blue that have never happened and then pretend they’re true.

What do you mean by 180, Ramza? Are you trying to say that bad music and good lyrics are mututally exclusive? Those quotes don’t disagree with each other.

I didn’t say Lost Prophets’ great sound was derived from lack of spoons. The whole point of that comment went clear over your head didn’t it? I was pointing out the negligibility of being original, since I believe someone made an argument about Lost Prophets being a stock band, or something to that effect, which doesn’t even matter because every band is the same as some other band.

I don’t even know where your posts (or Steve’s) are going anymore. I see a lot of giggling about being able to predict my patterns or something, as if I’m trying to be unpredictable and you’re responsible for my failure. What a joke!

…Cunts >_>;

You monkey, you were all about pro-Hoobastank and then when everyone is arguing against you (And you’re fighting the losing fight) you just turn completely around.

I said nothing about the quality of their music VS how many spoons they each have, I was making fun of what you said about how bands can’t be original without playing with spoons (While being awesomely subtle).

You can’t see where OUR posts are going? Maybe that’s because ALL YOU CAN SEE IS YOUR OWN OPINION. All I see is a kid that think’s he’s smart cause he can switch out negligibility and mutually exclusive for unimportance and same difference.

See look:

NSYNC is the greatest boys band because they sing, they’re boys, and they do what they do well. Check out a couple songs by them: Bye, Bye, Bye and Pop. Both are awesome.

Now, what you need to do if someone disagrees is say: “Guh, you guys are retarded. No, you’re wrong and NSYNC is the best, and you’re so wrong and stupid that NSYNC is the best. Also Boys2Men has some of the best boy band songs, lyrically, that I have ever heard. Oh wait I hate them. Jeez, good taste is truly dead.”

And there you have it, my argument is just as valid as yours.

See Hades, not everyone thinks the same as you. You’re just like NightmareGun, you can’t see anything but what you believe.

Holy FUCK Ramza. I’m not joking in the least when I say this: It is RIDICULOUS how you twist things, lol. I love you so much.

I didn’t turn completely around. When did I say I liked Hoobastank? I was defending their few good points instead of focusing on their bad. I said most of their lyrics are beyond almost all metal and rock lyrics. The catch: Metal and rock lyrics are almost invariably crap to begin with.

I said nothing about the quality of their music VS how many spoons they each have
Nor did I. We both mentioned lack of spoons in regards to their music:

So far you’ve basically said the Lost Prophets are good cause they are rock, they are hard, and they do things well. Also, they do not play with spoons.
At least what you do isn’t quite as bad as what Steve does: Rather that invent completely new situations that never occured, you just twist what did.

You can’t see where OUR posts are going? Maybe that’s because ALL YOU CAN SEE IS YOUR OWN OPINION. All I see is a kid that think’s he’s smart cause he can switch out negligibility and mutually exclusive for unimportance and same difference.
Apparently it’s working, since mutually exclusive doesn’t mean anything close to “same difference.” Besides, those phrases aren’t even very rare. I’d expect anyone with his grade 10 to know them.

See look:

NSYNC is the greatest boys band because they sing, they’re boys, and they do what they do well. Check out a couple songs by them: Bye, Bye, Bye and Pop. Both are awesome.

How does taking things out of context and not being able to simply look back at my posts to form coherant arguments somehow make your posts valid? They’re still completely aimless, and I don’t even know what you’re trying to prove anymore. That I’m a flawed individual? Lol. As if that’s some kind of hidden illuminati secret. I’m human.

See Hades, not everyone thinks the same as you. You’re just like NightmareGun, you can’t see anything but what you believe.
No, I’m just like NightmareGun because I can’t defend a band without being told by 14 year old high schoolers that all I can see is my own opinion. Do you see the irony? It’s thick like your skull.

Since you’ve been trying to analyze me all along, let me give it a try. You see the name Hades and assume that calling me something to the effect of bigot when you disagree with me will work because it’s worked for others. Unfortunately, you’re not as smart as they are. You’ll use this reflex even when it doesn’t apply to any argument whatsoever because you don’t know the difference. I’m guessing you have similar reflex thoughts for the other members of the forums.

Well guess what, the only reflex you set off is my GAG REFLEX LOL!!! Wanna ride bikes?

For perhaps the first time in a debate we’ve both been in, where his arguments have been close enough to mine for me to read them, I agree with Lanyx.

EDIT: Oh, and Hades, the fact that you often state your opinions as facts is what leads people to believe you can’t see any others. Also, I’m missing the irony. We argued with you, and you failed to response with more than insults and ‘I can’t even believe this,’ avoidance responses most of the time. Which means that you don’t want to actually make a point, you just want to be firm in your compulsion that you’re right, and actually ahve no arguments or points to make.

On a side note, there are plenty of Rock and Metal songs which have good lyrics, even more when you compare Hoobastank with them.

It’s because you both have the same problems. I’ve seen it in your other arguments, Arac.

EDIT: Oh, and Hades, the fact that you often state your opinions as facts is what leads people to believe you can’t see any others.
This isn’t a problem on my end. Like I’ve said a dozen times before, if you choose to interpret me as “presenting my opinions as facts” simply because I don’t put “IMO” after every third word, well, you’re just lazy. It’s not hard to discern fact from opinion.

Also, I’m missing the irony. We argued with you, and you failed to response with more than insults and ‘I can’t even believe this,’ avoidance responses most of the time.
No I didn’t. I soundly and utterly refuted everything Ramza said. The only way he can continue this argument is by going back to his same old comments and putting a new twist on them. Read my posts. Saying things doesn’t make them true, and what you just said is definately far from true.

Which means that you don’t want to actually make a point, you just want to be firm in your compulsion that you’re right, and actually have no arguments or points to make.

I know what you were trying to say though. My arguments do have a point: to defend myself from Ramza’s pointless arguments. I know it’s cool to gang up on Hades, but seriously look at his posts and ask yourself where he’s going. I’ve pretty much conceded to or never even denied any of the points he’s trying to make, so I don’t even see what the problem is. At this point, everything he says is just flames.

Haha I remember the Hoobastank comments. Good times.

Please, honesly, stop just nebulously insulting us. It won’t get anywhere. You say ‘You both have the same problem,’ yet you haven’t said what that is. Honesly, if you’re going to make an argument, adress our points, with something more than ‘That’s not true.’
Saying things like why it isn’t true helps. Rather than just ‘You’re retarded,’ or ‘I can’t even respond to that’ type of arguments, try making actual points. You’ll find that if you argue that way, it’ll seem like you actually have something to say, rather than just believe you’re right and will use diversion tactics to avoid actual arguments, as you’ve done for the last two posts.

Also, saying ‘I can’t even see your point,’ just makes you seem kind of stupid, when their point is obvious, as it is in Lanyx’s Nsync post.

No, the thing is, it isn’t. I know exactly what the immediate point is, but it’s based in aimless foundations. Read what I posted above. And… nebulously insulting you? I’m defending myself and nothing more. Again, read my post. If being so unsure of yourself, and rightly so, makes you feel insulted, you shouldn’t be posting.

Hades, I found out the point without any real deep thought, and you’ve actually called me retarded before. If I’m actually retarded, and easily found the point, I must say that’s terribly sad for you.
Pointing out that I have a problem, the same as Lanyx, is actually insulting both of us. That is part of the definition of the word instult. Saying steve just makes up shit is slandering him, which is also insulting his character, and thus him.
Pointing out the ‘problems’ of others is not really defined as defending oneself, either. Also, the fact that you state ‘Unsure of yourself, and rightly so,’ is again, an insult.
Now, I read your post. You should read parts of the dictionary, seeing as how the definitions of ‘insult’ and ‘defend’ seem to be escaping you at this time.

I just read your post, and it consisted mostly of ‘You twist what happened,’ with nothing backing it up, changing the subject (unless you just didn’t get what he was saying, althought it wasn’t that hard) as you did on ‘same difference,’ point out that his post doesn’t really have a long-term point (which it did), and yell at him for calling you bigot, when I just read over his post, and am pretty sure he didn’t once use the word ‘bigot.’

Also, I meant ‘compulsion.’ You can figure it out if you think a little harder, I’m sure. It’s from the third one down, by the way.

An irresistible impulse to act, regardless of the rationality of the motivation: “The compulsion to protect the powerful from the discomfort of public disclosure feeds further abuse and neglect”

you just want to be firm in your compulsion that you’re right
Your usage doesn’t agree at all. I think the word you were looking for was “assertion.”

English lesson aside:

You should read parts of the dictionary, seeing as how the definitions of ‘insult’ and ‘defend’ seem to be escaping you at this time.
THANK YOU for supporting the entire philosophy of my posts in this thread. You see me tell you to use a dictionary, SO YOU TELL ME TO USE A DICTIONARY.

This is fucking AWESOME. I’m not even going to bother replying here anymore. You’re god frickity damned CLOWNAGE! Lol. I love you Arac! Let’s be pals.

You guys are so fucking mental. Just let it go, you both suck. These exchanges are so dick and immature.

sigh Boys will be boys. Ha ha ha.

Edit: Deleted. Nevermind I’m not going to be a dick and try to get the last laugh in.

I am in too good a mood to argue further. I quit, and therefore win. l4t3rz g0yz
