I’ve been waiting to get my grubby little hands on this lost treasure for years… and lo, it arrives in my mailbox… for waiting several weeks for it.
And this also means that my Squaresoft CD Collection is finally complete, this closed the tiny gap between CT and SMRPG ^.^;;
Now if only Square-Enix could get up their lazy asses and re-publish that unfortunately cancelled(because of DigiCube’s recent bankruptcy, however FF7 Piano Collections made it through miraculously) Front Mission 4 + The First OST =/
Umm nope Gilg, this OST has been out of print for nearly 10 years now… this was a limited item offered to those who pre-ordered The Secret of Evermore back in 1995. It is not for sale anywhere, and due to its extreme rarity, it often goes for over 100, maybe 200$ on eBay, but it’s so unlikely that it shows up there. This OST is so rare that no one wants to sell their copies, which is understandable

You mean you’ve waited 9 years for it to arrive? Wow, did you know it’d arrive so late?
Rirse : There’s been one due for quite a while, but I couldn’t do it due to my internet being non-existant in my room, but I’ve gotten a router yesterday so that problem will be addressed soon.
Gilgamesh: No I’ve made a deal last fall with a seller on STC, a site populated by Game Music Freaks like me. He was supposed to get me a copy of Radiant Silvergun OST, another rare treasure. I had opted to wait until he’s get that and then send both OSTs in one package.
Unfortunately, the guy ran into some problem with suppliers, so I waited, and waited… Finally, in the beggining of February, I made a deal with the guy to drop Radiant and send me SoE for the time being, while I’d do a bit of research on which rare soundtrack he’s selling that I’d be interested instead of Radiant.
I’m considering the early Panzer Dragoon soundtracks or possibly Terranigma instead of Radiant… now I’m just waiting for an email confirmation
Bing: The Front Mission 4 + The First OST was never actually released, it got cancelled a week before the initial release, so looking on eBay will get nothing at all. Square needs to find a new publisher for their OSTs (Oh please not Avex ><) before a second try for a release gets done.
But hey, it was worth it for such a rarity.
