I guess you’re right. But it’s too late now. Bartz is a knight, but knows Summon Magic. Level 5 to be exact. But, Krile, and Reina are my magic users already. Faris has barely any magic… I can’t switch it up now. I’m too far in. =(

It’s okay and if you have trouble with the final boss create a character like this.
Job Bare
Attack
Drink
Summon
Item
I was level forty when I fought him and he has this attack that would do like 1700 damage. This attack would kill everyone off except for Bartz who had 1800 hp and would be kill off moments later.
You want the character to drink a giant drink (giant drinks double hp for the battle it’s used.)
This strategy would give the character if it was a spellcaster about 2800.
The reason you want to give the character summon is because you need Pheonix and it is also a good source of offence.
You want to keep item to restore mp.
“Two hand”+“Sshot”+BraveBlade+Ragnarok=massive damage to ANY monster
But it’s a pure Warrior Combo
Add “!Sword” and “!Time” to that, and you can take down the mighty Omega on a fairly low level. 8)
Who do you think is harder Omega or Shinryuu?
Omega kills you after a while but Shinryuus first attacks smashes you!
I was able to beat them and damn it was HARD!
Omega, by far. You can easily defeat Shinryuu without taking much damage.
Try this: steal 8 Dragon Spears from the CrystalDragon enemies in the room BEFORE Shinryuu in the Cleft of Dimension. Master the Lancer Class for all of your team members and set them up with the Two Weapons ability, then equip them all with 2 Dragon Lances and Coral Rings. On the first turn, have everybody jump. You win.
I think with that tactics… it will take some time cause dragon Lances don’t lie around,
Anyway more time to spend with FF
Nice strategy. I’ll remember that when I fight whomever…
I’m still stuck on Stoker. ; ;
Question: In the Mirate village, behind the pub, there is a door… when you open it, blue fills the screen, then it closes… meaning?
Reminds me of Culex from SSMRPG.
Sorry for the uh… triple post. =/
I’m still stuck on Stoker. What’s with that door I was talkin’ about?
Not important, so don’t waste time trying to figure it out. Remember that door when you reach the final dungeon in the game though.
Why? Assume I was there… what does that door mean/do ?
Thanks for replying, and sorry for the triple post again.
Telling you would probably be a spoiler, but if you insist… 8)
The last dungeon has a section that’s entirely similar to the town you are in. However, the door there actually leads somewhere. This one doesn’t. It’s just a clue.
Do you mean, that uh… the last dungeon place is like the Mirage Village, and when you go into that door, you either go to REAL Mirage Village, or towards Ex-Death?
Oh, don’t worry about that. The door simply takes you further into the dungeon. There’s no way to be “booted out”. Once you reach the town area, relax and enjoy the complete absence of random encounters. Wander through the town and reach the door to continue.
The last dungeon is made up of a blend of “environments” from the game, such as that town. It’s a very cool last dungeon; perhaps the best in any FF game.
Well, that is the real Mirrage Village, but if you talk to everyone, I believe someone mentions something about how reality phases in and out there, or something equally unusual.
Yeah…
Something else about the Mirage village… some dude says I gotta go around the world on a yellow chocobo to get something? EXPLAIN.
You literally have to jump on Boco and take him around the perimeter of the World Map. I’m not kidding. You can find him where you most likely left him: Gill’s Cave. From there, you’ll have to find a way to run him around as much of the world as possible.
Here’s a good explanation from the FFV shrine. Thanks to Macc Maverick for writing it!
Mirage has the black chocobo, so you just gotta be REAL careful not to go off the land, or over mountains, right? WRONG!!! You gotta fly back and get Boco again. From Guido’s cave, ride Boco south and around that mountain tip. Keep going, and you’ll eventually pass Karnak, Surgate, Bal, and keep going south along the area formerly a chain of small islands. Then keep going up past Mirage and Crescent, continuing to pass by where Tycoon should have been. Do NOT go toward where Worus was. Just keep going and eventually, you’ll find your way back to Guido’s cave. Fly back to Mirage, and the guy who gave you that dare will give you a Mirage robe.l
Is it worth it?
For the minimal effort involved, yes. It’s not at all hard to do if you know how to do it, and the armor is pretty nice to have. Even if it wasn’t, you could just sell it. Go for it.
