And uh… he was a SAINT. Saints are by definition not pagan. He might have been born pagan, but he was certainly Catholic later in his life.

Actually the Catholic church has only portrayed him as a Saint because he was a celebrated figure and they wanted converts. Like the concept of the Trinity originally came from the Celtic Pagan Trinity of Father, Mother, and Child. Also there is a Trinity of the three forma of a woman of Virgin, Mother, and Crone.
