So Im curious to know what any of you are doing on Halloween.Im not sure what Im going to do this year 
All I know is if Im not doing anything I dont plan on being sober that day no matter if a special someone contradicts meā¦yay

Iāll be doing my usual, staying home with my dad and handing out candy to the neighborhood kids. Boo!

Since Halloween is on a Monday, I am celebrating on Saturday.
My buddy is having a big Halloween/birthday party since his birthday is on Devilās Night (10/30). So Iāll be going to that, getting blazed and drunk, and trying to get some girl out of her costume.
Since My parents are completely paranoid about halloween and such, Iāll be escorting my younger sister, and possibly some of my younger cousins and their friends. The good news is, While doing this Iām still young enough to ask for candy while escorting them, even though Iām getting close to the point where i shouldnāt ask for candy. But itās free candy.
On Friday thereās going to be a whole mess of halloween parties, so Iāll probalby be party hopping. Then on Saturday a few friends and I will be going to see Rocky horror at midnight, no idea how weāll get back. Monday a group of us are going trick or treating in the Ville. And there is no school for us on Tuesday so yay for sugar rushes and movie night after trick or treating.
Iām gonna be working. I wonder if Halloween is a good or bad pizza nightā¦

But seriouslyā¦ Iām not doing anything for Halloween. This saturday I am going to see Divinity Destroyed, Balzac, and the Misfits (sans most of the actual bandā¦ but they have someone from GnR and someone from Black Flag, so itās all good :-P). Awesome!
I wasnāt planning on doing anything- Iām too old for dress-up and no kids come around here asking for candy- but since this year Iāve become my four-year-old nephewās surrogate dad, I might go out trick-or-treating with him. Heās very excited about it. BTW, his mother is a recently born-again Christian, and she was talking about not ācelebratingā such a pagan holiday. Gahh, how I hate that kind of narrow mentality. I explained to her how our ācelebrationā has NOTHING to do with the original one, and how even CHRISTMAS was originally a pagan holiday season that Christians co-opted (to convert the pagans.)

If youāre too old to trick or treat, dress up and scare the trick or treaters. I love working in haunted houses for little kids. They are there to be scared so I never feel bad about it and it is really fun.
Iāll dress up as Arthur Dent, which means I can do pretty much the same thing I do every year, which is hang around at home in my bathrobe, except now Iāll whine about tea, too.
