Ffcc

Hmmmmm

http://www.rpgamer.com/games/ff/ffccgc/ffccgcprev.html

This has me wonder what the game’ll really be like. Just the look of FFXII and the idea that it’ll be VS like has my tongue rolling on the ground, but this, though interesting, will require some finess to compare to LoM.

I hope it turns out to be fun, I’ve already reserved a copy.

Looks fun, and lighter then the newer final fantasy games (like secret of mana and such). Something fun to play in college with other guys on my floor.

Nothing I wasn’t aware of, except the lack of an experience sstem.

Now, to gather a sufficient number of friends AND GBAs…

Or just friends WITH GBAs. You don’t necessarily have to buy 4 GBAS, and hopefully you don’t have to buy friends either:ah-ha!:

I was kinda miffed when I found out how the multiplayer worked, but I will buy it anyways, because the director of the project was Akitoshi Kawazu (SaGa series mastermind), so I’m like 100% sure it won’t falter in gameplay, which is the most important part of a game for me.

I’ll just point out that a lot of people don’t like SaGa’s gameplay, SG, and leave it at that. Of course, this is true of ANY game, so whatever.

Quick, someone find that PA comic from awhile back. I know someone will.

I can see the advantages of using a GBA as a menu screen, I think some Dreamcast games did the same thing with the VM some time ago (can’t remember which ones but I know it’s been done, as can anyone who’s ever played Virtua Tennis).

I can also, unfortunately, see the gaping hole at the bottom of my wallet that it’ll cause. :thud:

You swear like I’m speaking on behalf of the entire RPG community or something :stuck_out_tongue: Everything I wrote was my opinion, cos obviously, I can’t give someone else’s opinion :stuck_out_tongue: And in my opinion, SaGa games have good gameplay.

Ah fuck. They shouldn’t have made the GBA mandatory for multiplayer…

I’m getting my money back for my pre-order. I’m not going to buy a GBA.

It sounds pretty cool, so I’ll probably get it. Even though I’m not very fond of real time combat.

The E3 Movie.

So do you need a GBA to play single player, or just multiplayer?

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> You only need a GBA for multiplayer. You can use the GC controller for single player. This is done so that not everyone pollutes the screen with their inventories all the time, and some other neat stuff, like one player getting a map, another getting clues and stuff like that. It’s a pretty neat system.

And I suggest against not buying the game if you don’t have a GBA. You can probably pick up a used GBA (not SP) for very little, and even if you can’t, the game is pretty fun in singleplayer as well, from what I’ve heard. Besides, why don’t you have a GBA yet? :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, as much as I’d like to get this game, I don’t have a GC anymore. Although I should get a GBA one of these days.

I’m going to skip this FF.
Doesn’t really appeal to me.

Cos I bought a Game Boy Player for Gamecube? It was less than half the price of a Game Boy Advance, and looks really awesome in full screen? I don’t know :stuck_out_tongue: That’s MY reason :stuck_out_tongue:

A buddy of mine got a GBA SP for Christmas, so he gave me his old GBA. Right now I’m replaying the Zelda Oracle games (while I save up to get some actual GBA games and Akira vol. 3), but after that, I think I might be Player 2.
