Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

TD, I think your sig died.

I love Circle of the Moon, and how they made the DSS cards system.

I wish they’d stick 'em all on a disk and re-release them. The thing about ‘collections’ is that so far they have all, eith the exception of the FF ones, been crap.

It randomly does that. I just have to get up from my chair and make a new sig, but I’m lazy.

Why do you have to get up from your chair? Does it not have wheels? My other question would be, why the hell do you have to get up to make a sig? I mean you’re using your comp, which you sit in front of every free moment of the day. So uhhh…why would you have to get up? Unless it’s to scan something, or go steal stuff from your sister.

I didn’t like Harmony of Dissoance Spell Fusion system…it was very lame.

But DSS System was great, since you combine so many cards…but it’s a pain in the ass to find them.

The Soul System in AoS was really good.

But I was very suprised that the hero was dracula himself and the resurrection hasn’t been completed! [/b]

D’oh! I browse around in a SotN thread, a game that I’ve played dozens of times, and I see a spoiler tag, expecting a SotN spoiler. And it’s an Aria of Sorrow spoiler…which is the one and only Castlevania game I’ve never played. >_<

Oh well. Castlevania games have never been about the story anyway…

I have to get up to get a cola, of course. Can’t expect me to make a sig without refreshments.

Also, I beat AoS tonight. Yay. Hard Mode, here I come.

Wow, you’re a loser TD. We still think you’re a very pretty pony though.

I have to agree with Sil that Rondo of Blood is very rare…I never even saw it.

Anybody heard of Haunted Castle? It’s an arcade castlevania game. It’s hard and very stupid.

nope never heard of that or Aria of Sorrow, what system is AoS for?::doh::

I haven’t played Harmony of Dissonance yet, but I heard it wasn’t very good. I also didn’t like Circle of the Moon very much, but DSS did rule. I tend to not really like most Castlevania game because I don’t really care for the whip, which is why I loved SotN for the many different swords and the awesome RPG properties!! How many of you have achieved 200% in SotN? How many have gotten over 200%?
:ah-ha!:

AoS is for GBA.

And I got 198% in SotN

199.2%

…it pays to use the Sword Bros. glitch. =D

I just beat SotN with Richter in 14:49 minutes!

:ah-ha!: Trillian you rule! hands you a taco I’ve gotten 198.6% without the glitch… damn those map blocks in the water in the Upside-Down Castle!

i get the most possible just to make the map look prettier. other than that, im just all about collecting all the weapons, shields, etc.

Yeah, SotN rocks!
But unfortunately it gets a bit boring when you get Chrisaerragrim (got it from the first Schmoo I killed (when I decided to get the sword) O_o) and a Shield Roded Alucards Shield…

So I used the Rune Sword and stuff instead… Heh, “verboten”.

Heh, way ahead of ya…

Beaten Hard Mode (of course that includes the chaotic realm), Gotten every soul in the whole game, I think I’ve got all the eq too, because I’ve got a 100% complete enemy list, and I’ve picked up everything so far…
I only need to find that last secret room…
(99.8% of map explored!! >_<)
So I guess I’ll just ahve to replay the entire game (again) and use the peeping eye soul (shows you breakable walls) through the entire game… (Already done that once, but I didn’t find that stupid room anyway…)

Oh, and as you’ve probably found out you can play as Julius too…
So I’m currently beating the final boss with him…
But he’s so WEAK!!!
He does 6 damage/hit (on normal) vs a boss that has 5000 HP Xþ

And the thing that really freaks me out, I bought the game about a week ago…
But I’ve almost on my third set of batteries, so I guess I should try to sleep a bit more now that school has started…

I beat hard…now NOSOUL mode, here I come!

Bought it two weeks ago, but I saved the game for my breaks during work and in the evening. Also, I restarted once, since I was overleveled so much that the game really wasn’t any fun (level 30 at the Great Armour boss, yay.)
