This, personally, is one of my favorite games of all time! The storyline and graphic effects are just way ahead of it’s time. Oh and the music! This is probably the best side-scrolling game out there, and the rarest too! I’ve seen it go for over $100 on Ebay! What do you guys think of it?

I remember playing SotN for free when a guy at Hollywood Video gave me the game for free… har har. Even if the new Castlevania game on PS2 is good, I still wish they woulda done it like SotN and the GBadvance games… I heard those were damn good too. LONG LIVE SOTN!!! :mwahaha:
SotN is like one of the last greatest true 2-d sidescrollers made for a console, IMHO.

SotN is one of my all time favorite PS1 games, which includes such favorites as Suikoden 1/2 and Brave Fencer Musushi. I happened to own this game twice, the orignal copy of it got destoryed a few years ago, so I had to win a auction on ebay recently in order to get a new copy (for ten dollars too).
Try Aria of Sorrow. I loved that one!

Yup, one of the last and greatest 2D games, it also had just a fantastic soundtrack. With the notable exception of that song that played during the credits.
Aria of Sorrow is mightily kickass, indeed.
I thought the story was going to be “Dracula has risen again, kill him.”
But I was very suprised that the hero was dracula himself and the resurrection hasn’t been completed!

I kinda guessed that at almost the beggining of the game. No normal hero would be able to take the souls of evil ones like that.

…and damn my curiosity, I thought I knew the spoilers since I’m at like 90% of AoS. Argh ><
