Can't sleep...clown'll eat me...

As those of you who know me personaly can attest to, I often have trouble getting to sleep. It’s been a problem for quite some time, and I can’t isolate any single cause. Unless I’ve had a very exausting day, I just never seem to get very tired.

So…just to get some opinions, what are some things you all like to try when you can’t sleep?

NyQuil.

Exercise. Clinically proven to help you sleep. So when I can’t sleep I do situps, push ups, or I hit the gym. I do this during the day anyway, but it never hurts to do it when you can’t sleep to tucker yourself out.

“NyQuil, NyQuil, NyQuil! We love you! You giant f***ing Q!”

You could always try my method, which is have a fan turned on during all time at night pointing at you while having a radio playing the background. I do this mainly due to the fact I can’t stand pure silence, as it drives me crazy when I can’t hear any noise.

My friend can’t sleep very well unless he takes medicine because he has ADHD…

Play videogames. If that doesn’t work, play more videogames. If that doesn’t work, brag about playing videogames all night.

What Sorcerer said, or you could try acupunture.

Not being able to sleep when you’re supposed to is a disorder, GG. Go ask your doctor about it.

I’m serious.

How’s this one?

Nope, that isn’t me, just some shmuck I googled.

Go see a doctor would be your best bet, but if you can’t another option would be to wake up at 6 am and go do things. Run around the block, play some sport, do something other than things that require little physical activity. If your tired after a long day, sleeping should be no problem.

That has to be a very severe case, then. I’ve never heard of ADHD causing lack of sleep, and I have ADHD.

I take nyquil(night time cough surup), and advil. Might not work for you, but it works for me. Just be sure not to OD, you might bee sleeping for a while then.

I used to have this problem when I was little, and this helped. Start waking up early, it helps you sleep at night and makes your day longer, so it’s a win-win situation. Then again, I haven’t been able to sleep past 6 am ever since my biological clock adjusted to this routine.

If that still doesn’t help: Really, get a doctor.

I forgot I had this one…

My mom has to take ambien to even get close to falling asleep. She has built a tolerance to it now, so they’re talking about putting her on some more heavy stuff. She’ll go days without sleeping sometimes.

After 72 hours without sleep, you are considered temporarily insane.
