I just noticed something; try selecting Auto-Name during the character creation process in FF1+2 GBA. Some of the random names for the character classes are from various other FF games (most of which are from the ones where Yoshitaka Amano designed the characters). Some of them are just random.
Warrior Names:
Giott (the dwarven king from FF4)
Sasuun (??? Wasn’t this a random monster name in FFT?)
Doma (Doma was a kingdom of “samurai” warriors from FF6, and the king’s name was most likely King Doma)
Argus (Possibly a mistranslation of “Algus” from FFT?)
Desh (one of the 5 “support” team members from FF3j, he was the son of Owen)
Zeza (King of Surgate Castle from FF5, and one of the Warriors of Dawn. He’s the one with Krusty hair)
Banon (leader of the Returners from FF6)
Arus (??? Possibly a mistranslation of Prince Allus from FF3j?)
Leo (a General for the Empire in FF6)
Baron (there was a kingdom in FF4 called “Baron”, and they trained Dark Knights. The king’s name was most likely “Baron”.

Baku (leader of the thief group Tantalus from FF9)
Biggs (recurring character from FF6, 7, 8, 10, X-2 and Chrono Trigger.)
Tuss (??? Maybe a random monster name again?)
