I’ve tried to keep quiet, but I just can’t hold it in any longer. I have to tell everyone that even if Pierson’s perceptions were thoroughly successful in making a few people feel better, they would still be demeaning to everyone else. The full truth of my conclusion I shall develop in the course of this post, but the conclusion’s general outline is that Pierson likes exegeses that heat the cauldron of terror until it boils over into our daily lives. Could there be a conflict of interest there? If you were to ask me, I’d say that his left hand doesn’t know what his right hand is doing. No joke. What this underlines, I think, is that he somehow manages to maintain a straight face when saying that his allegations epitomize wholesome family entertainment. I am greatly grieved by this occurrence of falsehood and fantastic storytelling which is the resultant of layers of social dishevelment and disillusionment amongst the fine citizens of a once organized, motivated, and cognitively enlightened civilization. And now, to end with a clever bit of doggerel: United we stand. Divided we fall. Pierson’s fatuitous protests will destroy us all.
