Okay, yesterday, my english class was supposed to take a test, but due to a problem with the Xerox machine, we couldn’t/ So, we just decided to hold a Scrabble tournament instead.
Last five minutes of the game, I see a chance to get a triple word score plus an extra 50 points for using all my letters. You know what magical word it was that won me the game?
“Spoony”.
The looks on everyone’s faces when they found out it was a real word! It’ll warm my heart il the day I die.
So yeah, just thought I’d share this with everyone.
I bet you were like :yipee: and they were like ::dekar!:: and then some dude was like :noway: and then you checked it and he was like :thud: and you were like :mwahaha:.

Hate to be pedantic, but as an avid Scrabbler myself, I’ve got to ask how you can use all your letters on a 6-letter word :noway:
Sorry 'bout that
if you check the dictionary, you’ll find a couple different ways to spell “Spoony”. I just went with the one you guys are most familiar with.
A few months ago, the chat was hit with one of its regular phases of playing Playsite games, in this case it was Scrabble. Urk, SD, Merc, and I play. Urk is cheating and pulling weird words out of his ass. Merc is just Merc. Sun Demon? I dunno. Urk had to quit early because of his funky timezone, so it’s down to basically just SD and me. SD’s beating me the whole game, but I’m closing the gap. It comes down to the final turns. SD has one letter left, and it was probably a vowel. Merc was Merc. It was my turn, I had 4 letters left. O, O, I, and E. Now, I needed to somehow use all four letters in the right spot to pull ahead and win. SD’s over in the corner gloating. Then it dawns on me. The golden spot. I place all four letters and bust out MOW, DID, ET, and the best word of all OORIE. Now, the game before, Urk was cheating as per his nature, and he used the word OURIE. I know he’s cheating, but I look it up on Hasbro, and yep, OURIE is a word, but one of its variations was OORIE, so I knew I had it won. With the placing of those letters, I get just enough points and then some to win the game. And with that game, I can forever taunt SD with the Nature Boy Ric Flair’s classic taunt: To BE the man, you’ve gotta BEAT the man! WOO!

Uh, at the end of the game where there’s no tiles left in the bag and you only have 6 tiles left maybe.
