I agree with Sin, that would kick a lot of ass. In fact, I have a complete map of Solstice for the NES that I made awhile back, I could put that into the computer and that’d basically be the centerpiece for a section to that game.

As for the site, I think you need create some kind of RPGC Gestapo to promote the completion of shrines and to get lazy people to work on their shrines. :mwahaha:

Make a saved pm folder, in which pm’s in there didn’t count as part of your total pm count?
When a pm is read and deleted or deleted and not read it could indicate that?
Another background color, purple! or maybe all the other spiffy colors of the rainbow ;p
Just suggestions, for i don’t know the technicalities of making these things possible.

I would like to see some new colour schemes for the forums. Since those add a little variety to the place.

First of all congrats on posting so much, Merl. (Er, I think?)

(You know, if the worm hadn’t erased my previous post count, I’d be approaching 3000 about now too. Ah, no big deal.)

How to improve the site? Let’s see:

  1. I agree with the Site Map idea. I still get the feeling that I’m not using RPGC to its full potential.

  2. I don’t care about the site looks at all. Make it shocking pink if you like. Just make sure it’s readable.

  3. We need a revision of our Smilies list. You know, so we could get more usable ones. Ones whose meanings are clearer. Maybe we should subject it to a vote.

That’s all I can think of right now, I’ll post later if I come up with more. And BTW Merl, thanks for all the great work you (and the rest of the staff) have done/are doing for us.

I know some other sites, (ddrmaniax is the only one i can think of right now), integrate the login for their message boards onto the main page.

Could RPGC do something like that if the main page was redesigned? Or is there not really a benefit to it?
