Yu-gi-Oh is evil

Meh, evil is more fun anyway.

In other words, Yugi is Clark Kent and Yami is Superman. Just that they are a WAY cheaper version.

There are evil guys in Yu-Gi-Oh! Yami Bakura and his Zen Nen Ring is pretty good.

I pity the foo’s who believed that damn TV person.

TV IS YOUR GOD NOW!!! UURRAAGGHHH!!!

buh? @_@

Clearly this man is insane. If kids are playing the game and then turning around and carving 666 into thier foreheads, reading the necronimicon, and drawing pentagrams all over the place, then I would say YuGi-Oh was satanic. But last time I checked none of this has happened. Please tell me if I am misinformed.

sigh Who the (bleep) do these (bleeps) think their are? Just because they’re (bleeping) opinion is (bleeped) up, does that mean we have to (bleeping) follow whatever (bleep) they (bleep) at us? (bleep) them!

M:TG is teh suck now. It was cool for a while, but they kept churning out 2-3 collections a year when I quit, and the cards they put were too powerful. I know that some of the older cards were powerful in their own right, but damn, now it’s just ridiculous.

The CONCEPT behind YGO (I’ve read the rules) is simple and attractive. However, the only reason it sucks is because it was marketed to kids.

I guess I’m still stuck wanting a CARD version of Card Fighters Clash. Not marketed to kids, and is somewhat like YGO, but BETTER. Then again, SNK/Playmore won’t do it and if they do, they won’t release it here. Especially since they’d need Capcom’s “go” word in order to do it…but it WOULD RULE SO MUCH!

Oh yeah, and my Mecha Deck would own all of your asses… Mech-Zangief and Blodia III that shit!

Iga, that’s not really true. There’s a reason the Power Nine hasn’t become the Power Ten or anything like that. The old cards still have the best effects. The new ones just break old ideas that have been held for a while.

I personally find that introducing Buyback was the last straw in moronic tactics. There WERE cards to dive into your graveyard and put them back in your deck or your hand. But nooooooo, they had to introduce Buyback on the most annoying cards to use, of course.

Then again, I solve all Buyback crisises with one thing, and I don’t even know if it’s banned from TPlay, but I don’t care. That’s called Tormod’s Crypt.

I still think M:TG sucks for having played it for a long time. I just find Card Fighters Clash to have a better system even though it resembles YGO a bit.

Not that I can see. It’s not restricted or banned as far as T1 and T1.5 goes.

That’s the list of all the banned/restricted cards.

I play both Yu-gi-oh and Magic.

However, I don’t watch the anime, read the manga, wear the t-shirts ad nausem.

Errata: I have a “forest” MTG t-shirt.

You play? Would you like to duel sometime?

If you have Apprentice.

Anyhoo, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE Yu Gi Oh with a passion. M:tG has always been better and has now reached its 10th anniversary (hell yeah!) and don’t need no stinkin’ TV show.

Bah, and 8E looks cool. Nothin’ like the gay ass YGO cards. [/b]

Hehehehehehehehe! Jareth, Leonine Titan + Thriss, Nantuko Primus + Kamahl, Fist of Krosa + Krosan Cloudscraper = MAJOR BUTT KICKING!!! I like Magic much more than Yu-Gi-Oh, and I’ve been collecting Magic cards for years! Try combining Coat of Arms with a Sliver or Goblin deck and you’ll get an army of massive beasts at an insignificant cost!

And with Mirari’s Wake you can REALLY pump up spells like Desintegrate, thanks to the mana bonus!

And with Thriss and his ability, even the weakest creature can pack a punch… +5/+5 until end of turn for just one green mana + tap! And with the new cards, you can really bring in the dragons from the previous sets!

Sure, but that’s around 26 mana. I prefer Squirrels + Llanowar Elves + Coat of Arms. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, the Eternal Dragon has Plainscycling, so I could bring it back every turn and use its ability. Or a White Mana Battery…
Leviathan isn’t as good as some people may think, since the untap and attack costs are insane, so the Krosan Cloudscraper would do a better job. I’m also condisering boosting a Dawn Elemental with Armor of Faith or sending in a Paladin En Vec with a good strengthening enchantment.
And don’t forget Sigil of the New Dawn! With that, you can keep brining your creatures back. Mirari’s Wake should provide all the mana you need to activate it. I also like Testament of Faith, since you can set up a really powerful barrier with enough mana.

Bah, dammit. You have too many cards you have to use to get yours off the ground. All I need for mine to be any good is the Warrens and Crusade. The Sovereign is just a nice bonus.

And Squirrels r teh nasty. Ask GG or Framie, who got their asses hand to them.

And Slivers suck. They’re way too overrated. The only one I like is the Scourge one, and that’s 'cause it combos VERY nicely with Unnatural Selection.

The Legions slivers have many interesting abilities. Including Regeneration and extra toughness.

My fave combo: using Phyrexian Grimoire every turn. From the moment I put it into play my opponent already knows he’s lost 2/3 of the cards that are still in his library.

One of the new creatures gets ten cards from the defending player’s library out of the game if if deals combat damage to him/her. Mwahahahahaha!

Wow! I’ll add that to my deck! What color is it?

My grimoire takes 1/3 of the opponent’s cards in library from play, and another 1/3 comes to my hand. And that’s if I don’t get a way to untap it every turn for double use.
