While I’m not really liking this idea at all, at least they tried to pass the Joker off as he really is- a crazy-as-all-FUCK villain who nobody in his right mind (and few in their wrong mind) wants to mess with. still has bad memories from Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
The goggles on Catwoman look strange.
How dare they create a new Batman cartoon given the popularity of other DC comic book cartoons recently, namely Teen Titans and JLA? Rather than completely changing the style such as Loonatics? This is nothing like Loonatics, Booken.
Welcome to 6 months ago.
uummmm… am I the only one that thinks a remake of a batman cartoon is retarded and very unecissary?
this is mega old news. I was watching episodes of that new batman like months ago.
Holy manga-fication Batman!
At least it isn’t Star Trek the Animated Series.
You bitch about nothing. While it’s not as good as the last Batman series it’s not all that bad. But what the FUCK did they do to the Riddler?
Most Bat-Man remakes have been pretty good, if not stellar. Batman Beyond was really good, and the use of Robin in TT is pretty well done too.
Batman Beyond was not good. Every villian was a rip-off of The Animated Series villians.
I was wondering the same thing. He looks like Orochimaru with infrared goggles.
That was the POINT. It was Batman in future, not Batman in the future where absolutely NOTHING IS THE SAME BECAUSE IT’S THE FUTURE AND IT’S NOT AN HOMAGE TO IT’S PREDECESSOR!
And the Riddler looks nothing like Orochimaru aside from the long black hair.
I don’t know. I’m not awake Saturdays morning. Is there such a thing as Saturday Morning anyway? I don’t have Cable anymore, so I don’t have whatever channel WB Kids is. No Fox.
I just saw this. I hate how they tried to “Anime”-ize the character. Just look at Batman. He’s all… strange. Riddler sucks. Catwomen is strange. Pinguin is okay. Freezer totally lost his style. Worst of all, Joker doesn’t look human at all. Alfred is black.
Yes, I bet whatever story and action could still be good. But hell, those graphics sucks.
Well, for starters they didn’t “anime”-ize everything. If you would actually watch the episodes you would realize that the art style isn’t animeish at all. You’ve judge the show without having even seen it, so shush. And it’s not the show’s fault that the characters look the way they do. This series is based upon one of the new versions of the Batman comics, or so I’m told, so if you have a problem take it up with the comic artists. And Alfred isn’t black. And it’s Mr Freeze, not Freezer. You’re making judgements when you obviously no little about Batman and have never seen the show. So save us the conclusions and come back and bitch when you’ve actually seen it.
You’ve judge the show without having even seen it, so shush.
Kinda oxymoronic from people that judge a cartoon that haven’t come out yet.
That reminds me of…
Yeah. “Celda”
No one needs to see Loonatics to tell how horrible it is. You can look at other recent loony toons based cartoons and see how horrible they are. Its worst crime is its laziness. These cartoons are just hastily thrown together hacks.
On the other hand the Batman cartoon was pretty successful.
They did change the style a lot…but saying they animeized it, wha? It looks nothing like anime style animation for starters, and even if it did, that isn’t really saying it is a good thing or a bad thing. Assuming it meant anything at all…I guess it means something since it does fall outside the realm of looking animeish…
HOLY CRAP ALFRED’S BLACK!

HOLY CRAP ALFRED’S BLACK!
No, he is standing in a shadow…
Not as bad as Loonatics. The Batman shows have been in general progression, while Loonatics is a huge jump.
