Why do we need more Xenosaga animation? The game by itself is like a motherfucking movie.
That aside, this could either be an awesome piece, especially if they do all episodes (I wanna see Id again :D) but it could also be some huge ass screw-up if they don’t do it right.
Those drawings on the site… please don’t tell me that is the quality of the animation?

From what I’ve heard the Xenosaga anime is supposed to air next month in Japan, January 10th I THINK…
Chances are it won’t take long for fansubbers to pick it up… I’m curious as to how they’re going to handle it, personally.

I honestly don’t think they’re going to let the animation quality be like that. That’s not my big thing against it anyway. Heck, Xenosaga might’ve been a better anime than game in my opinion. I love the the Xeno games, but, the thing about them is is they’re not done right they don’t really work very well. Plus, if they’re going to go with the Star Ocean EX route, I certainly hope they’re going to add…something in there. If they slap the Xenosaga script into an anime, I’ll gladly sit out. It’s interesting that so many people claim it to be more of a movie than a game, and I’d probably enjoy playing it than watching it in a anime I believe.
Whatever though. Personally, a side story involving just a few characters from the universe would be alright.
The first episode just aired in Japan last night, and I just watched the raw. I have to say it’s pretty neat. It doesn’t follow the story to Episode I precisely, it does change a few things (Albedo is in the very first episode), but the things it changes are neat little additions. The pacing is a bit fast, but to get up to KOS-MOS’s awakening in the premire I guess it has to be.
Personally, I’m looking forward to more episodes…

Ahhh, the flooding market of video game tv shows… it truly brings joy to my heart… However, nothing will beat good ol “Captain N” and “Megaman”… Those were the classics.

The animation was not as good as I expected. I wouldn’t say the characters were poorly drawn, but the graphics/animation looks kinda crappy.
