k, every time I try to open .WMV files (in, like, anything), it gets an error, i.e. “Windows Media Player has encountered an unknown error”, Media Player Classic goes “cannot render the file”, etc. I know it’s not the files themselves because they worked before, and they can’t all have been corrupted by something. Anyone know what happened or how I might be able to fix 'em?
Install the codecs.
Ah yes, I forgot to mention, I’d also re-installed the codec.
