Why is everyone scared of Sin?

I’d think it’d be more of a limited democracy. We have a voice, but you can just tell us STFU and make your own decisions, but we occasionally influence the higher ups.

STFU Cala! :moogle:

Nah, kiddin, we try to listen to the pulse when there’s a high demand or something similar, but sometimes even high demands are not good ideas.

Indeed, such as the “you reach 5 posts, you get custom title” idea. :stuck_out_tongue:

Meh, I’m not afraid of Sin at all.

Sin is a nice guy, if you are nice to him. As with other people… :\ Well sometimes with other people

I’m not afraid of Sin, hell, if I were to be on the opposing side of an arguement then him I still wouldn’t fear him, I’d just have to make sure I had a sound arguement or I’d get completly shot down. You people scare too easily.

it’s not even an oligarchy. If things got really out of hand or really serious then a forum matter can end up being resolved amongst the staff, it’s happened before but not often.

I don’t fear Sin. I don’t really know him yet he seems to be a pleasant person. Hell if he wasn’t I wouldn’t care either. He speaks his mind and for that I respect him.

>.> <.< >.>

I don’t know what to say 8D. Well thanks people… I do wonder what brought this post on though kills d galloway (jk)

Edit: Cala: mrowr!
Zero: I’ve lived with you way more than that.

"He’s not that scary at all, except for his constant swearing, which quickly comes off as immature and silly, and his “I’m right, you’re not” attitude. Maybe if he just said, “Bah!” to everyone he disagreed with, then peace could be restored.

Instead, we have the Sin everyone fears for their lives. Many people here would probably prefer to jump off a bridge down seventy stories to a pile of jagged rocks rather than face Sin for five minutes.

So, folks, don’t fear Sin. That’ll make him the TRUE dictator of the site."

Anyone who knows me well enough knows I’m quite far from the immature, silly, brutish description mentionned. I really do appreciate everyone voicing their support, that made my day, if not my week.

I was talking with Sin the other night and I mentioned something that might be relevant…it seems, especially with the “serious” threads, that a lot of the board-goers are somewhat intimidated by what’s now the RPGC college crowd. The older folks here usually have a clear advantage in presenting their arguments, both in logic and simple word choice.

Well, with people bitching for a custom title, it’s only fair that some of us forsake the privilege to make it less worse or something, besides, whatchagot against foppies, foo?
Actually Foppys and thier like make good leveling.

I don’t feel intimidated though. I just slowly worm my way into the power structure, where I can rule behind the scenes…

Uhm. You weren’t supposed to hear that. AMNESIA DUST! trrows Amnesia Dust in everyone’s faces

he’s human, just like everyone else. there’s nothing to be afraid of. shrugs

I, on the other hand, am a lot more scary. bites Sin’s head off, for emphasis :stuck_out_tongue:

bites Faetan too, for good measure

Ahhhhhhhh!!! Give me back my arm!!!

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> Eh, I have quite a nice vocabulary and can mostly follow along with bigass threads like those, but whenever I try to post something it just comes out stupid :stuck_out_tongue:

hugs Sin

Considering the only time I ever spoke to Sin was back in September…

The only way you’d say he’s scary is when you know his hot-headedness and martial arts creds, and even then, he wouldn’t be ready to use them at the drop of a hat (fortunately for me, as I usually carry one).

In short, Sin is a very interesting person to talk to, for the little I’ve spoken to him.
