Zeromus. He was kind of hard. The absence of an ultimate attack that everyone could use puts him way over Kefka on the boss charts.
Also, I have to say, I loved the fight against Jecht in FFX. I actually found the battle to be REALLY annoying, but the atmosphere, created in large part by the music, was great.

I made this one awesome come back when I was battling him once. Rydia was the only one left but somehow a quickly managed to revive everyone and heal them( it probably involved Megaelixirs)
More likely Asura; i don’t think there were Megalixirs in FFIV.

there are no Megalixirs in FF IV, you have to use Elixirs or Cure4
Not exactly a monster, just a meteor…that managed to destroy like, 4 or 5 planets, then blow up the sun, and yet kills none of my party members.
Anyone care to explain THAT phenomena?

I still don’t understand how he survived with only Rydia intact. If he didn’t strike lucky with Asura, he must’ve really just used Phoenix downs and Elixirs. If that happened though, he would have to be lucky enough to have Zeromus zero in on a single character (most likely Rydia in this case), probably not use his flare magic or any of his all character attacks…didn’t he have one that was in Xenogears? Big Bang or something?
Meteor is like Gravity, it CANNOT kill you i survive it even with under 100 HP, it causes about 97% damage of your actual HP

Supernova was mostly about status effect anyways.
When i fought Zeromus, EVERYONE died but Kain in the first few rounds, and i had to defead him with Kain single-handedly jumping with a Drain Spear… It was one of the most memorable boss-fights i’ve had.
He only does that if you atttack him with Meteo or something damaging mainly he just counters your own attacks thats probably why.
I liked the Zeromus figth as well, it has nice music and is challenging. But if edge throws all your useless weapons(excalibur etc.) and Fumas it is much easier.
Personally I liked the second zodiac brave in Final Fantasy Tactics. A very powerful foe.
