jak 2 definatly made my year. Also Unlimited Saga. But Xbox had a few good games like knights of the old republic and soul caliber which i know also came out for ps2 and was equally good on both platforms
None. The Gaming industry has been plummeting downhill with the next-gen consoles.
Games simply suck now. That’s why I sold my PS2 and all my games and bought a guitar.
If I had to choose, I’d say PS2, for Suikoden III and Xenosaga. Those’re pretty much the ONLY purchase-worthy games you listed. The rest are barely rent-worthy, except possibly for F-Zero GX.
If I could include games from '02, PS2 would easily win though, since it has Shinobi and FFX. (But sadly, still not much more than that)
It’s got to be PS2 for me, even though it hasn’t been the best year for games. There were still some good titles like Devil May Cry 2, MGS2 Substance, Final Fantasy Origins (although that was technically a PS1 game), The Sims, Chaos Legions, Soul Calibur 2 (though that was on several of consoles) and Gungrave (very short but very playable). Next year should be even better as I can finally get Final Fantasy X-2.
PS2, I liked the games that came out on that.
X-Box close behind (I think mechassault came out in '03, if not, Halo was good, seeing as I can’t play it on my shitty computer)
GCN got nothin, I hated all the games on it that I played (SSBM, Wind Waker, Soul Calibur 2 was okay but the controls were horrible, and a few others. I really liked SC2 for the PS2, though.)
