Exams are over, I’m coming home. And with home comes unfiltered, unblocked, unmonitored internet access, which means online games are here for meeeeee. I’m looking around and it seems a tie between World of Warcraft and Guild Wars for most-played game.
Frankly I don’t give a shit which one I get, since I can easily afford either, so; who’s playing what? Whichever has the most or coolest people playing it is basically going to be the one I end up getting.
If you’re going to bitch at each other’s choice of game at least answer my poll first! ANSWER ME YOU WHORES!
None yet, but I just got dirty filthy rich (well, relatively speaking), so I’m thinking about getting Guild Wars. I would get Lineage II, being [strike]secrely and madly in love with[/strike] a fan of Richard Garriot and thus his games, but I really deeply hate monthly fees.
WoW now. Never looking back to any of the previous games that I played before it:
Everquest (1)
RO
FFXI
Shadowbane
Starwars Galaxies
Although, if I had two things to say about that list (which is all I do have to say) its this:
EQ is still awesome, for some reason I still have urges to go back and play the oldschool everquest. It just has a nostalgic feeling. And the opening theme always got me pumped.
FFXI used to punish stupid people who didnt know how to play thier class. I hear it has made leveling alot easier lately, but I liked the old ways. Where, if you mess up, you got reemed. It was good if you had a group of players who knew what they were doing. Otherwise the game sucked.
Runescape though its probably for 13 to 18 year olds, since thats mostly all i see. Yes, yes graphics aren’t much, but its a big improvement over runescape classic. I tried that, argh did i want to peel my eyes out. Its a decent game besides for some of the people playing ehehe… Wish i had money to become a member and get more out of the game, oh well.
