Nor would I. Since I, and probably everyone else here, if permitted into the city, would be stuck living in the slums of perpetual night, while the priveliged elite lived off our blood sweat tears and death, without even having to be inconvenienced by having to look at us the blue collar rabble. Out of sight, out of mind, and not one tear when we were all crushed in the collapse.
