"Uninstaller component missing"?

I’m installing Real Alternitive, so of course I would like to get rid of RealPlayer. It’s been on my PC for as long as I can remember but I haven’t had much need to use it.

When I try to uninstall realplayer, I get an error message that says “Uninstaller Component Missing”.

So what do I need to do to rid myself of this accursed piece of software?

Try installing real over itself to see if the uninstaller appears then.
