Why did it take so long for such an obvious Star Wars reference to appear?

I saw them. They were ok. Not bad by any means (Courtney Love was there, now -that- was a terrible performance), but I just wasn’t familiar with their songs.
Trapt is ok, their songs are getting a bit overplayed where I live though.
