How do I make a background transparent using Paintshop Pro? I’m trying to make the background of this transparent
Copy and paste the image into a new transparent image in PSP. I generally use 500x500, but I tend to use that for when I have alot of work to do in PSP. Anyway, use the magic wand tool (it’s next to the lasso), and select the black. Next, delete the black. With the rectangle selection tool, create a box around the sprite (doesn’t matter how big it is as long as it has the whole thing). Press ctrl+v and voila. You have the sprite with transparency in a new file. Save it and export it as a gif.
