TONGUE.

I recently noticed a stinging sensation in my mouth; and it’d sting whenever it touched something, anything. Even water.

I just discovered a small cut on the bottom of my tongue, and I can’t eat, 'cause I can’t bear the pain. I had some fries with salt today, and I ended up throwing them all out after eating 2, 'cause it just hurt so much.

I was wondering if tongue cells heal. Will the cut go away? If so, when will it heal? I’ve had it for 4 days now.

While I see no problem with consulting online, I must again recomend an alternative course of action when it comes to health issues: GO SEE A FUCKING DOCTOR.

I didn’t think it was that big. Hehe… biiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIGGgg. It seemed simple, so I didn’t want to waste time going to a doctor.

Tongues normally heal very very quickly, it just seems like forever because it gets used so much. If it’s been four days with no improvement you might want to see a doctor.

And hope you don’t have hoof in mouth disease, we’ll have to shoot you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hm… I’ll wait another day, and if it still persists, I will consult a doctor.

Also, I noticed the tip of the cut was white yesterday, and it’s quite crimson today.

Gargle some salt water. That always works if I get a sore in my mouth. >.>

Yes. A friend suggested that to me. But I think if I can’t handle some fries with salt, I don’t think I can handle salt water. But, I’ll try it tonight.

In the meantime…no lemonade :x

Actually, lemonade was the first thing I had when I noticed the stinging. It’s all the lemonades fault. :<

Cancer

Liar.

You’ll be fine, just don’t poke it.

Actually, salt water doesn’t sting that much if you don’t like add 3 tablespoons if salt.

That’s what they said about AIDs.

When I said everything made it sting, that includes my finger. Which I used to test if my finger actually reacted to it.

Please spare us any further moments of your brilliant fucking insights.

Mmkay.

Anyways, I tried eating ravioli, and it doesn’t burn. Maybe it’s healing?

If it was on the lips on the inside I could help you there but since it’s on the tongue… all I sugges is leave it a lonely and try not to do anything to it. IF it worsens, see a damn doctor. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ever since I did my “what is your first name” poll, “BIIIIIIG” has become a bandwagon word. Of course, the same could be said about the poll.

Anyhow, Everyone else suggested what I had planned to.

You know NOTHING of the history of BIG!

With threads like this, how have we not been weekend web’d yet? I seriously can’t believe i just read a serious discussion about a sore on someones tongue.
