Well, i’m leaving tomorrow morning at 11:30 AM central time for New Orleans, where the local MEPS is. At sometime around 1 PM for Fort Benning, Georgia. I’ll be in Basic for 9 weeks, unless I get sick or hurt, in which case i’ll be in longer. I don’t know when i’ll get a chance to come back or anything, but i’m sure it’ll be after that. I’ll still be around a little today and a small amount tomorrow morning, so uh…yeah. Cya later and stuff.

Quite the contrary actually. Most Marines I know would go through boot camp again since it was easy and sort of fun, I know I would. Also, MCT is fun since you get to shoot a bunch of weapons and it isn’t too hard. Plus doing stuff in the field is fun, sleeping in tents, crawling though barb wire, climbing over walls, etc. It’s all in good fun and what you sign up to do. Also, shooting a real weapon accurately isn’t nearly as easy as you may think it is. It does take practice and time. Well, good luck, have fun, and enjoy it while it lasts. It may seem like forever when you are there, but it seems like nothign when you look back on it.

Thanks everyone ^^ And yeah, shotting accurately is a bitch, and only a part of the training. I’m gonna love this. I heard that for the first two weeks or so you think of it as hell, but after that it gets easier because you’re used to it.
Oh, and I forgot to put this down, but I know a lot of people are tired of “I’m leaving” threads, but I figured i’d put one since i’ve been here for so damn long:P
