This is the sort of woman that give Blondes their reputation.
It’s just…wow, what a mindbogglingly empty answer.

facepalm
As if the build-up to the question wasn’t bad enough…
And I suppose you two would have had a better answer to that. I’d like to hear it.
I’d say that the current education system lacks emphasis on world geography and world classes in general, and expand from there.
Yeah, but people like this girl wouldn’t understand even the phrase you just said.
I know this is wrong on so many levels but I just imagined this girl working in the UN.
If the stupid americans are on topic, watch this vid. I roffled on it.
For what it’s worth, the hobby of tv networks here is asking students what do we celebrate on national days and being shocked when the answers are mixed up. TV people should get their act together before criticizing the people they influence with their shows.
edit: Is that from a beauty pageant, Zero?
I can’t believe it’s that hard to locate US on the world map. I mean, we’ve gotta be up there in the top 5 biggest countries.
People like this are so unbelievable sometimes. But when you think about it every other country also has it’s fair share of complete morons.
Maybe not as many as America, but still quite a few.
Too bad their morons make fun of our morons.
I lol’d.
qft
I would ask for the study, including which scholarly source it was printed in, that makes such a claim.
The worst part is that some of those people were saying those answers with such certainty.
I would say that if U.S. Americans would stop watching goddamn idiotic primetime television shows and read a goddamn book once in a while they might learn something other than how to gesso their teeth with vaseline to make them look shiner. ;p
I like the part where he asks what country should be invaded next:
-Probably France.
-Why do you say France?
-It just seems to be some friction between France and the United States.
Explains quite a lot about nowadays international affairs.
But what really got me laughing was the guy who said they should invade here (together with Indonesia and Canada).
Oh, BTW, he shouldn’t write Iran over Australia in that map jus tto trick people into saying Iran was actually there. Who knows if this won’t end up with Australia being bombed by accident…
I forget where I found this little quote, but it was something like: “Americans aren’t the stupidest, loudest, and most arrogant people in the world, they’re just the best at selling themselves as such.”
That part was funny when he asked that star wars was a true or false story, and the guy said true. This proves that most of the americans are a little narrow minded and don’t know much about the world outside their country. No insult intended.
So, stupid little “Man on the Street” segments, whose truth have been questioned quite a bit in the past, that involve a horrendously small segment of the American populace (I think a liberal guess would say 10,000 people have been featured in the various iterations) proves that most Americans are narrow minded and completely ignorant of worldly events?
Okay, to be fair, I’ve been there and I didn’t notice any stupidity pattern with people. In fact, at least where I went to, everybody was so educated I felt like staying forever just for intellectual comfort. And you guys have lots and lots of nobels, patents and MIT.
But the video is still funny.
Well, you can find people like that (the ones in the video) anywhere in the world anyway.
