The Sorcere'rs Apprentice

No, not the one with Mickey Mouse. But related. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, Disney is again trying to exploit its old brands by having someone reinvent them as live action movies. Hey it worked with Pirates of the Caribbean, no? (Not so much with The Haunted Mansion).

The story seems to be pretty cliche: old master must teach young, hip successor in time to battle a terrible evil. But hey, the FX look cool, and it stars Nick [STRIKE]Coppola[/STRIKE] Cage as The Sorcerer. Cool enough for me. (I wonder if his name will be Yen Sid? ) I like the dialog too. May give it a try.

I wonder if there’ll be a scene with out-of-control animated broomsticks…

That story may be cliche, but it has nothing to do with The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. They should put the action in Wall Street circa 2008 and make it a mockumentary.

Saw Nick Cave instead of Nick Cage. Was excited. Now disappointed.

Now I want to watch Face Off.

I would rather see Rayomd E. Feist’s Magician: Apprentice made into a movie…

Definately what I first thought of when I glanced at the title. Apprentice and Master are both really good books, and not to complicated to make into a movie.

Finally… my tale shall be told.
