This one isn’t as hard to swallow as say The Smurfs movie, because the Legos had a Renaissance in video games (of all places.) Besides it is being made by the people behind “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”. Don’t expect Lego Batman or Lego Star Wars in it though, as they’d need those franchises permission to use them. But again, the “Cloudy” people made up the entire cast of that movie and they rocked, so…
