Mara Jade was the Hand of of the Emporer, his top assassin and a force sensitive. You see her in Return of the Jedi at Jaba’s Palace masquerading as a bounty hunter. After the Emporer’s death she ends up working with Luke (whom she hates at the time) while searching for a clone facility that is rumored to have a clone of the Emporer. Afer seeing the way Luke works, she started to rethink the dedication she had to the Emporer while he was alive and Mara eventually ends up deciding to develop her Force power and falls in love with Luke.
