The games in the main Grandia series are great. The first one is sugary (story-wise) and a bit slow, but massive. The second game, in my opinion, is far superior to the first, with a much better storyline, dialogue, quicker pacing, and so on. Both are extremely linear, with only one or two instances in each game where you can hit a non-required side area.

yeah, well i think the first one is better than the second one. the first Grandia is an all time classic.
