The Devil's Rejects

Anyone manage to check this movie out?
I just got back from it. I was VERY surprised at how… emotional it was.
If you ever see it, you’ll know what I mean. It’s nothing like you’d think it is, and it’s a HUGE step up from House of 1000 corpses.
Definitely worth checking out if you can stand some… gritty stuff.

Edit: Lots of “dead boobs”

I have been wanting to see this movie for a couple weeks now. It was good? I didn’t like 1000 corpses.

I do like dead boobs though.

Mmmm… Sherry Moon Zombie.

Yeah, Sherry’s pretty hot.

The movie was SO much better than 1000 corpses… this actually had a lot of good acting, and a horrendously good plot.

Nice. I’m definitely seeing it now.

With 1000 Corpses, it seemed like half the movie got left on the editing room floor.

I wasn’t going to see it due to it’s story being, ummmm ridiculous.booming advertising voice “They kill for the hell of it!This summer, a rob zombie production, The Devils Rejects”
Not fun at all, but hell Im going to watch it on the sole reason that it was produced by Rob Zombie. What next? “We’re not alone” produced by Marylin Manson? XD

Honestly, I thought it was going to be pointless, but it seriously was one of the best movies I’ve seen :stuck_out_tongue:

You can’t compare Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Zombie is a talented guy that loves to be a showman. Manson is a showman that would love to be talented.

Hey, I liked House of a Thousand Corpses, especially when you consider it wasn’t meant to be a serious horror movie. The Devil’s Rejects is surely going to please me, but I’m going to wait so that I can see it with my girlfriend.

I know the whole story line now… coughStevecough… But I’ll still end up seeing it.

You guys didn’t see it together?

You could have sat next to each other and shared the big tub of popcorn.

And Steve could have cut a hole in the bottom of the tub and put it on his lap. And then you could have reached for some popcorn…

Lol
<!-- yes, that’s all I’m putting in my post. -->

I don’t like popcorn, freak.

:mwahaha:

Its not about the popcorn.

It’s all about the popcorn.

Is popcorn slang for booty?

Cause if so, I agree.

I heard it was a horrible movie.

Yes you can for the fact that they both have issues.I seriously thought rob would never makea movie again, but here I stand corrected.

the movie is incredibly excellent, but it’s content was so, chilling to me that I have trouble recommending it to people on that basis. It’s very good and very disturbing. I like trying to imagine what people would’ve thought if it came out before Pulp Fiction did.

Yeah, it was a very grim and gritty film, but it was masterfully made. Almost makes you think House of 1000 Corpses didn’t have the same director.

In what ways was it emotionally disturbing?

The first one was just a schlock-fest.
