The Air of Change

Very level-headed of you. But here’s the difference. The extreme of the Democratic party consists mostly of a bunch of college kids and writers, who have no real political influence of any kind, whereas the extreme of the Republican party has been running all three branches of the government for the past six years.

Oh yeah, Bernie Sanders is cool. People certainly love him in Vermont - after 15 years in the House, he is a Senator now (and he creamed his opponent by a 2-to-1margin). Bernie was tagged as “an ineffective extremist” by Republicans a while ago.

Speaking of extremists, comrade Daniel Keating almost got in. Having a communist Congressman would have been an interesting development.

Healey isn’t governor of Mass, whee.

Supposing this refered to my post: The first sentence is an ironic comment on Donald Rumsfeld having to resign. Not a world-shaking comment, for sure.

The second sentence, if one doesn’t take the grammatical error into consideration, means that now it’s the turn of the Democrats and it will be interesting seeing what they are going to do now, apart from (hopefully) blocking the GOP’s most lackluster laws.

Well, oddly enough, it wasn’t aimed at your post (but rather the one above it), and I must have missed your post the last four times I’ve browsed through this thread since posting that.

Weird.

A-ha. My post must have been on stealth mode.
