My roomie and I were having a debate. While talking about Testicle Festivals (that is, festivals which revolve around testicles, particularly eating bull ones), we decided that there needs to be a portmanteau of the two words. So, which should it be? Festicles or Testivals?
Testivals
Festicles’ pronunciation could have its etymology confounded with the word “fester”, which nobody wants
I like festicles myself. And I approve any pornmanteaus.
Seconded. It also brings to mind popcicles which isn’t really related to this…or is it?::dekar!::

But on to the subject in hand right now. If you’re looking to get by the censors I suggest Testival since it doesn’t immediately conjure up the image of Testi(@!$ (damn censors!) unlike Festicals (hah! missed one) which immediately summons both the image of rotting balls and the contents of the stomach of low constitution viewers who failed their saving throw against nausea.
Speaking of which…
Enjoy calling them testivals till the bulls make you pay in the afterlife.

I polled a group of my friends and “Testivals” is the general consensus for the reason that it highlights the fact that the male genitalia is the main theme of the festival and the fact that it is a festival, both of which are not really suggested by “Festicles,” which sounds like some sort of fertilizer product
